Final Expense, Burial & Life Insurance Quotes

Leave Them
Your Love,
Not The Bill.

A funeral today can cost more than $10,000 — and when you're gone, that bill lands on the people you love, in the middle of the hardest week of their lives. Family Legacy Planning lifts that weight off their shoulders, so all they have to do is remember you — not figure out how to pay for saying goodbye. Need more than burial coverage? We also quote term and whole life insurance.

Grief Is Hard Enough.
A $10,000 Bill Makes It Harder.

When the time comes, your family should be planning how to honor you — not how to afford it. Without a plan, the average goodbye (casket, service, burial) can leave them with thousands in debt, or a fundraiser with your name on it. That isn't the memory you want to leave behind. This makes sure it isn't.

Let's Be Honest

"Do I Really Need This?"

"I'm too old — I'll just get declined."
These plans are built for exactly this stage of life. Most folks 50–85 qualify, and there are guaranteed-acceptance options even with health conditions. Getting a rate costs you nothing to find out.*
"I already have life insurance."
Many policies shrink or expire with age, or end when a term runs out. Final expense is whole life — built specifically to cover the goodbye, and it never expires.*
"It's too expensive for me."
Many plans cost about a dollar a day. Weigh that against leaving your children a five-figure bill during the worst week of their lives. A little now spares them a lot later.*
"My family can cover it."
They can — by draining their savings or borrowing while they're grieving. This means they never have to choose between honoring you and affording it.

Common Questions

Final Expense & Burial Insurance FAQ

What is final expense insurance?
Final expense insurance (also called burial insurance) is a small whole life policy made to pay for a funeral, burial or cremation, and final bills. Coverage amounts are usually between $5,000 and $40,000, and the money goes to the beneficiary you choose.
How much does burial insurance cost?
Your price depends on your age, health, tobacco use and the coverage amount you pick. Younger, healthier, non-smoking applicants pay the least. Many people in their 60s and 70s find a plan in the range of a few dollars a day or less. A free quote gives you your exact rate.
Can I get final expense coverage with no medical exam?
Yes. Most final expense plans have no medical exam and no needles. You answer a few health questions on the phone or online, and many people get a decision the same day.
Can I qualify if I have health problems?
Often, yes. Applicants in reasonable health can usually get full coverage from day one. People with serious conditions can still get a graded or guaranteed acceptance plan. Those plans usually have a two-year waiting period for death from natural causes, while accidental death is typically covered right away.
What is the difference between burial insurance and term life insurance?
Burial insurance is whole life: it never expires as long as premiums are paid, and the rate stays level. Term life covers a set number of years, such as 10, 20 or 30, and pays nothing if the term ends first. Term is usually cheaper for larger amounts and younger buyers; burial insurance is built to be there whenever it is needed.
How much burial coverage do I need?
Add up the cost of the funeral and burial or cremation you want, plus any final medical bills or small debts. A traditional funeral with burial often runs $10,000 or more, while cremation usually costs less. Many people choose $10,000 to $20,000 of coverage.
What ages can apply for final expense insurance?
Most final expense plans accept applicants from about age 50 to 85. Some carriers start younger, and options vary by state and carrier.
Will my premium go up as I get older?
No. With a final expense whole life policy the premium is locked in when you buy it, and the benefit amount does not go down. Coverage cannot be cancelled because of age or health as long as premiums are paid.
